A tiny, tiny story that began in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The beginning
A little story about how I started Arofa Keikicci.
I’m a busy person.
Because I’m a mom. Moms are always busy.
Sometimes, I look at my son and he’s dressed like a miniature adult. It’s cute, of course.
But what clothes would best suit that bursting smile of his?
I took a trip to Hawaii carrying that small worry.
It was there, seeing my son in an aloha shirt, that it hit me.
"Ah, this is it."
And so, Arofa Keikicci was born.
Arofa Keikicci is neither a boy nor a girl,
but a small child whose eyes sparkle as they gaze at the Hawaiian sun, the sea, and its people.
That is Arofa Keikicci.
Designed for small bodies.
For instance, right after a big meal.
Since their core muscles are still developing, a slightly flared hem keeps their full tummies comfortable and unrestricted.
The rounded shoulders are accommodated by drop shoulders, allowing for easy movement.
For easy dressing and undressing over a larger head, we designed a wider neckline.
Designs that make you happy to look at, and happy to wear.
Less words,
just “Aloha”.
Bumps, tumbles, or waking up too soon.
Life can be tough, even for the newly born.
But the world seen through the Orange Square window is full of sparkle and shine.
